2015 ASB Tour
The Agriculture department had a busy spring and early summer with preparations for the Provincial Agricultural Service Board Summer Tour. We welcomed 275 delegates, 84 partners and 35 youth from across the proving to the County on July 14-17. Delegates visited numerous agricultural initiatives in our area, as well as the other industrial and commercial activities that share the landscape with agriculture.
Visits to the Dinosaur Bone Bed, Viterra, beaver dam blasting demonstrations, as well as tours to the Encana Water Hub, the Village of Sorkenville and the South Peace Centennial Museum, to name a few. We were proud to show off all the great initiatives in the County and very excited to share our famous Peace Region hospitality!
