Land Use Bylaw & Maps

The Land Use Bylaw (LUB), Bylaw # 2680 [PDF - 4.2 MB], regulates the use and development of land and buildings within the County. It sets out the various zoning districts, the uses acceptable under each district, and the method for making decisions on development permit applications.

Zoning Maps: To complement the Land Use bylaw we have a book of zoning maps that contain up to date zoning information on all areas of the county. Each page of the zoning book shows the zoning for either the east or west half of a municipal township. Feel free to download the most recent (August 21 ,2017) book of zoning maps [PDF - 17.1 MB]

At some council meetings, zoning changes are approved, some pages of this book are updated. Please subscribe to our updates if you would like pdf copies of the changed pages sent to your inbox as they are mapped. Below is a list of recent changes to the zoning map book.
