Recreation Fee Assistance Program

The County is working to ensure all residents have access to recreation opportunities through the Recreation Fee Assistance (RFA) Program.

The RFA Program enhances recreation opportunities for low-income families and individuals living in the County. Through the program, qualifying residents can access a ten-punch pass to the Eastlink Centre, Crosslink County Sportsplex or the Beaverlodge Recreation Centre.

Are you wondering if you qualify? Primary applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be at least 18 years of age (proof of age required)
  • Live in the County of Grande Prairie (proof of residency required)
  • Must not exceed the following yearly income threshold totals (notice of income required):

Families and individuals can apply to the RFA Program once per year and the punch pass must be used in full before reapplying. Approved applications can qualify for a maximum of $200 per person, per year.
