Rural Addressing

The County has a Rural Addressing Program that identifies each rural property with a specific address. Identified with a numbered, green, highway-type sign, the address helps local utility and emergency services, such as police, fire, and ambulance, quickly locate specific properties. Do not remove or alter these signs.

Under the County’s Community Standards Bylaw, addresses must be correct, displayed so it’s clearly visible from the roadway, and maintained.
