Who can use the Bezanson Truck-Fill?

The Bezanson Truck Fill is a service available to residential and agricultural users in the County of Grande Prairie only. This truck fill is not intended for commercial use

Where is the Bezanson Truck Fill located?

The Bezanson Truck Fill is located at 9921 100 Avenue, Bezanson.

What is the cost to purchase water from the Bezanson Truck Fill?

The cost to purchase water from the Bezanson Truck Fill is $9 per cubic metre. Users are also required to pay a one-time $42 Application Fee. 

How do I obtain approval to use the Bezanson Truck Fill?
County residents interested in using the Bezanson Truck Fill are invited to complete a Truck Fill Account Application form online. Once your application has been approved and your account has been setup, users will have the ability to pre-pay for and draw up to eight cubic-metres of water (per month) from the Bezanson Truck Fill. Water must be pre-paid by calling or visiting the County of Grande Prairie Public Works department during regular business hours.

A one-time application fee of $42 must be paid prior to using the Truck Fill.

How can I add money to my pre-paid Truck Fill account?


Registered Bezanson Truck Fill users can add credit to their account in the following three ways:

  • Over the phone by credit card. Call the Public Works department 780-532-7393 during regular business hours.
  • In person with cash, cheque, Interac or credit card. Stop by the County Public Works Administration building located at 10001 84 Avenue, Clairmont during regular business hours.
  • By cheque through the mail. Mail a cheque, payable to the County of Grande Prairie and note on the memo line “Bezanson Truck Fill” and your Account Access Number so you can be properly credited.

How long will it take to process my application?
Once the online account application is submitted and you’ve confirmed your email address, approval can take up to 2 business days. Be sure to check your junk mail folder for your approval email. To inquire about the status of your application, contact Public Works at 780-532-7393.

What information is required to set up an account?

To set up an account for the Bezanson Truck Fill the applicant’s first and last name, address (physical address or legal land description), phone number and email address are required.

When is the Truck Fill accessible?

The Truck Fill is accessible seven days a week between the hours of 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. 

When can I add funds to my pre-paid account?
Payments can be accepted during regular business hours (8:30 a.m. - Noon and 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday – excluding statutory holidays).

What if I don’t have a valid email address or access to a computer?
A valid email address is required to set-up an account to use the Bezanson Truck Fill. If you require assistance in setting up your account and you have a valid email address, please contact Public Works during business hours by calling 780-532-7393 or stop by the Public Works building located at 10001 84 Avenue, Clairmont.  

How do I get an Account Access Number?
Once a Bezanson Truck Fill account application is approved you must register a vehicle to your account.

Login > Click the Truck Management Button > Click New.

 The Access Number will be automatically assigned . This is the same window where you will set up your PIN. Users are encouraged to save their PIN and Account Access Number for future reference.

How do I set-up my account PIN?
Once a Bezanson Truck Fill account application is approved users can access their online account to register their vehicle and create a Personal Identification Number (PIN). The Account Access Code and PIN are required to access the Bezanson Truck Fill.

What kind of information is available on my online Bezanson Truck Fill account?
Registered users can log-in to their online account to view their current balance, total vehicles registered to the account, Account Access Number and PIN.

What if I forget the Account Access Number or PIN for my Bezanson Truck Fill account?
Your Account Access Number and PIN number can be reviewed or changed by logging in to your online Bezanson Truck Fill Account/profile.

What if the Bezanson Truck Fill is not dispensing water?
Upon arrival to the Truck Fill, users are encouraged to take notice of the illuminated light located on the outside of the building.

A GREEN light indicates that the Truck Fill is fully operational, and that water should be available.

A RED light indicates that the Truck Fill is temporarily unavailable, and water will not be dispensed.               

 

The outdoor light on the Truck Fill is GREEN, however, I’m still not able to get water. Why?

There are three possible reasons why the Bezanson Truck Fill is unable to provide water:

  • Customer may have reached their Monthly Limit (eight cubic metres)
  • The Truck Fill may have reached its Daily Limit
  • There is an error in Truck Fill operations and maintenance is required. Please contact the County of Grande Prairie Public Works department at 780-532-7393 during regular business hours for assistance.

Is there a limit to the amount of water that I can purchase?
Each customer is allowed to purchase up to eight cubic metres of water per month. Please note that this truck fill is intended for residential and agricultural use only.
