Microchip Clinic

Join the Grande Prairie Regional Animal Care Facility (GPRACF) at Petland Grande Prairie for our Fall Microchip Clinic!

For a minimum donation of $20, pet owners can have their pets microchipped. County of Grande Prairie and City of Grande Prairie Bylaw Enforcement Officers will also be on site issuing dog licenses and answering Animal Bylaw related questions.

WHEN: Saturday, November 24 starting at 10 a.m.

Do you like to be prepared? Pet owners have the option of printing and completing the following forms, then bringing them to the clinic.

Download and complete the entire Microchip Clinic Waiver [PDF - 160 KB]. Download the Microchip Registration form [PDF - 160 KB] and complete sections 1, 2 & 3. Section 4 will be completed by staff at the event.

Why microchip your pet?

Microchipping is a form of permanent identification which can be important to reunite owners with lost pets. Microchips can be scanned anywhere, will never become lost or unreadable and provide proof of ownership for your peace of mind. Typically microchipping can cost up to $150 per pet, so get in on this great deal!
