Recreation & Culture Grants

Grant Programs

The County of Grande Prairie offers four Recreation and Culture grant programs:

Please be advised that the County’s operational and capital grant applications and funding processes may be different in 2021 pending the outcome of the Inter-municipal Collaboration Framework (ICF) agreements signed with municipalities within and adjacent to the County’s borders. The ICF agreements were mandated by the Provincial Government Act and are intended to provide for integrated planning, delivery and funding of Inter-municipal services. The new ICF’s will outline how recreation services, like those delivered by your organizations, are funded as we move forward with this new legislated requirement. More information on this subject will be available late 2020.
