Development Approvals

Discretionary development approvals are posted on the Approved Discretionary Development Permits page during the 21 day appeal period. These decisions may be appealed to the relevant appeal board during this time and are not final until the appeal period has expired.

Public Hearings

Public hearings are an opportunity for Council to hear from anyone affected by proposed bylaws or resolutions prior to making a decision on the matter.

Public hearings are scheduled during regular Council meetings to begin around 1:00pm. Anyone wishing to participate can speak at the hearing or provide written comments. Written submissions must be received by 4:30pm the Thursday before the hearing to be included in the Council agenda and any information you provide may be made public subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. If you wish to speak at the hearing, you will be invited to do so by the Chair as per the County's Procedural Bylaw. The purpose of the amendment is to designate PT NE-8-71-7-W6 located 1 mile west of the Hamlet of Dimsdale, adjacent to RGE RD 74 south of the intersection of TWP RD 712 and RGE RD74 from Agricultural (AG) to Country Residential (CR-4) to allow for the subdivision of 1 country residential lot. Tradesman Area Structure Plan - Bylaw #3148

The proposed Tradesman  Area Structure Plan covers  three quarter sections, NE-10-72-5-W6, NE-11-72-5-W6 (including 1223254;1;3), and NW-11-72-5-W6 (including  1820245;1;4, 1822449;1;5) located 1 mile east of the Hamlet of Clairmont along HWY 43.
