The County of Grande Prairie Regional Fire Service serves residents from stations located in communities throughout the County.

Bezanson - Station 9

The Bezanson Fire Station is located at 9903 100 Ave.

Built in 2004 with 3 bays and offices. An addition was added in 2015 that houses the MSU and Squad, along with a second floor. The station’s day-to-day operations are managed by Captain Harold Bulford, with assistance from Lieutenant Kurt Birnie-Browne and Lieutenant Ross Hennigar

Bezanson members practice Mondays at 7 p.m. and meet for specialized training on evenings and weekends as required.

Bezanson Fire Hall

Clairmont - Station 14

The Clairmont Fire Station is located at 10808-100 Ave.

Built in 2009 to be a fire hall, along with Enforcement, RCMP, Parks, Agriculture and originally FCSS. The fire hall was designed to house up to six apparatus in six opposed bays. It is also where Fire Service administration and Fire Prevention offices are located.

Dunes - Station 17

The Dunes Fire Station is located at  60051 Hwy 668 Suite 5.

Purchased in 2008.

The Dunes fire hall (Station 17) has the same level of service as the Clairmont Station and is the second station in the full-time regional model provided by the County of Grande Prairie. The Dunes Station also houses the County fire service's training centre. This training centre covers approximately 9,000 sq. ft. directly east of the fire hall

The Dunes Station also houses much more equipment and apparatus. Including the apparatus listed above, it houses on a regular basis a trailer containing two snowmobiles and a trailer with two Can-Am 800cc ATVs jointly owned by Regional Enforcement Services and Regional Fire Service.

Hythe - Station 4

The Hythe Fire Station is located at 10004 102 St.

The Hythe Fire Station was built in 2006, by volunteers and through donations by supportive contractors and residents.

The station’s day-to-day operations are managed by Captain Matt Fischer, with assistance from Lieutenant Scot Lykins and Lieutenant Max MacAulay.

Hythe members practice Mondays at 7 p.m.  and meet for specialized training on evenings and weekends as required.

La Glace - Station 1

The La Glace Fire Station is located at 10109 100 Ave.

The La Glace Fire Station was built in 2019, the building includes a 8,000 sq. ft. main floor and a 3,200 sq. ft. second floor with areas dedicated for meetings, training, and maintenance.

The station’s day-to-day operations are managed by Captain Tyler Choboter, with assistance from Lieutenant Ryon Hemingson and Lieutenant Dawn Dalke

La Glace members practice Thursdays at 7 p.m. and meet for specialized training on evenings and weekends as required.

Teepee Creek - Station 2  

The Teepee Creek Fire Station is located at 9912 100  Ave.

Teepee Creek’s Fire Station was built in 1995, with an addition (east bay) in 2013, for a total space 957 sq. ft.

The station’s day-to day operations are managed by Captain Pat McLaughlin with assistance from Lieutenant Lawrence Phillips and Lieutenant Jonathon Hoag.

Teepee Creek members practice Tuesdays at 7 p.m. and meet for specialized training on evenings and weekends as required.
