Paying Property Taxes

The County of Grande Prairie collects property taxes to help pay for services, facilities and projects in the county. Property taxes are calculated based on the assessed value of your property and multiplying it by the appropriate tax rate. We have different tax rates for different assessment classes, including residential, non-residential, farmland, machinery and equipment and linear property.

Tax Installment Payment Plan

Make paying your property taxes easier by setting up pre-authorized monthly payments rather than paying one lump sum. In order to qualify for the Tax Installment Payment Plan your account has to be paid in full and your application must be accompanied by a void cheque or direct deposit sheet.

Complete the application form to set up your Tax Installment Payment Plan.

If you chose to end your payment plan, simply contact our tax department at 780-532-9722.
