Can I mow the ditch in front of my property?

You may choose to mow your own ditch in addition to the County mowing program; however you will be responsible for any damage to your own equipment.

How often will my ditches be mowed?

Your ditch will be mowed once during the mowing season, with some areas receiving a second cut. Mowing season is from mid-May to mid-October.

When is the County going to mow the ditch along the highway?

Vegetation control on primary and secondary highways is the responsibility of Alberta Transportation.
