The Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Administration (PFRA), which was a branch of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada,  discontinued the PFRA program in 2013. The County is no longer able to order trees for your shelterbelt.

Our Rural Extension Program offers free workshops on shelterbelts and other popular stewardship topics throughout the year. Look for upcoming workshops on the events calendar.

If you would like to continue to plant a shelterbelt the Agriculture department has rental equipment available, such as a tree seedling planter and a plastic mulch applicator.
