Shelve and Share
Doors are open from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday
Help keep good quality items out of our landfill. If you have items that can be reused please bring them to our Shelve and Share and pass them on to a new home.
I have some great items to donate, what do I do?
- Gather items that are in good used condition. That 3-legged chair you've been meaning to fix is a true diamond in the rough, but please don't bring items that need too much work to be useable.
- Come to the Clairmont Centre for Recycling and Waste Management on Range Road 63 and place at the Shelve and Share Drop-off area.
- Please unpack your bags/boxes before placing on shelves to ensure there are no hazards inside.
Bring the following items to share:
- Arts & Crafts Supplies
- Home Décor
- Kitchen and Household Supplies
- Office & School Supplies
- New, leftover or reusable construction materials
- Sports and Recreation Equipment
Items not accepted:
- Appliances larger than a microwave
- Broken or soiled items
- Car seats - infant/child
- Cloth furniture including mattresses
- Helmets
- Knives and similar items
- Safety & Personal Protective Equipment
- Stuffed animals and cloth toys
