The Wellington Resource Centre (WRC) is a community facility attached to the Clairmont Community School.

We Offer

Food Bank

Wednesdays 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please call for appointment. Provided in partnership with the Sexsmith and Area Foodbank.

Christmas Hampers

Applications open in November of each year. A partnership with the Sexsmith and Area Foodbank.

Community Volunteer Income Tax Program

Complete and file tax returns for low-income residents.

Information and Referrals

Connecting people to supports and services as needed.

Help with Government Forms and Applications

Help to fill out forms, including Seniors Benefits, Canada Pension Plan and more.

United Way Emergency Fund Administration

Provides one-time support to qualified individuals/families in exceptional cases.

Clairmont Volunteer of the Year Award

Nominations open in March, award presented during Volunteer Appreciation Week.

Parent and Tots

Join us every Thursday from 10 am. – 12 p.m. Free program for children ages 0-6 and their caregivers.

St. Johns Ambulance Babysitting Course

Certified babysitting course for youth ages 11-15.

Youth Programs

Fun and exciting one day camps for youth to build personal skills. Offered throughout the year.

Home Alone

For ages 9-11, provides self-care information for children staying home alone for short periods of time.

Volunteer Opportunities

We welcome volunteers for our Foodbank, Community Volunteer Income Tax Program, and other programs. Please call for more information.

Multi-purpose Room and Office Space

Free meeting space for community and nonprofit groups, please call to book (no birthday parties).

Provide support and education on pregnancy and parenting. Free programming every second Monday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for children 0-6 and caregivers.
