Extended service hours will be offered in June to provide rate payers greater convenience to pay their property taxes by the last business day of the monthProperty tax payments are due Friday, June 28, 2024. Payments made after this date will be subject to a penalty. 

Property tax and assessment notices for 202were mailed to approximately 20,000 property owners in the County of Grande Prairie in MayPayments can be made:   

  • Online at the County website using your Visa or MasterCard credit card (subject to a 2.2% convenience fee);  

  • Through banking institutions using online banking or in person;  

  • By cheque mailed to the County Administration Building, 10001-84 Avenue, Clairmont, AB T8X 5B2; and   

  • In-person at the County Administration Building.   

The County Administration Building will offer extended hours to accommodate property tax payments as follows: 

  • June 17 to 21 and June 24 to 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (including lunch hour) 

  • June 26 to 28 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (including the lunch hour) 

Property owners who have recently transferred or purchased property in the County and have not receivetheir property tax notice are urged to contact the County's tax office as soon as possibleUpdates to the information listed in our records can be delayed due to the timing of changing information with the Land Titles Office.
