Clairmont Crime Prevention Town Hall Rescheduled
The County of Grande Prairie has rescheduled the Clairmont Crime Prevention Town Hall after last week’s cancellation due to winter weather.
Updated event details:
Date: Thursday, January 23, 2025
Time: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Location: Wellington Resource Centre, 10407 97th Street, Clairmont
The event will offer residents and business owners valuable insights into crime prevention strategies, property safety measures, and local security resources. Representatives from County Regional Enforcement Services, RCMP, and security experts will be on hand to answer questions, while exhibitors—including surveillance providers—will share tools and advice to help protect homes and businesses.
A short online survey is available for residents and business owners to share their concerns about rural crime and crime prevention. The survey has been extended to January 24, 2025: www.countygp.ab.ca/crimeprevention.
Find details on the town hall event at www.countygp.ab.ca/events. For those unable to attend in person, a recording and a summary of questions and answers will be available on the County's website following the event.
