Closure near Wapiti Nordic Ski Club for bridge replacement starting September 8

A section of Township Road 704 between Highway 40 and Range Road 63 near the Wapiti Nordic Ski Club will close to allow for replacement of the bridge.
The project will begin on September 14, 2022, and is expected to be complete by the end of October, weather dependent.
Motorists are advised to detour using Township Road 710 and Range Road 64 to access Township Road 704 west of the closure. The recommended detour route will also allow access to the Wapiti Nordic Ski Club throughout the project.
Commercial vehicles over 75 per cent axle weight must detour using Township Road 710 and Range Road 70.
Motorists may see increased traffic on Range Road 64 throughout the project.
