At approximately 12:30 p.m. on Monday, March 6, crews from the County Regional Fire Service stations in Bezanson, Clairmont, Dunes and Teepee Creek, and the Wembley fire department responded to a house fire in the Rio Bend Estates subdivision, east of Bezanson. A water tender from the DeBolt Fire Station was requested for mutual aid.  

The fire is currently under control and no injuries were reported. 

Crews are actively hauling water from the Bezanson Fire Station to the scene. Traffic and pedestrians are asked to stay clear and expect fire truck activity to continue for the next couple of hours.  

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the County Fire Marshal.
