Back to Search2022 Campground Report – The Committee received a season-end report from the Parks and Recreation department outlining key performance indicators and the outcome of Capital projects in the County campgrounds and day use parks. Administration reviewed individual financial summaries and usage rates for each campground and reported overall success at all County campgrounds and day use areas, including an increase in annual guests.
Vehicle Weight Order – The Committee heard from Administration regarding updates to the County’s Vehicle Weight Order. The updates were based on County infrastructure being able to accommodate legal axle weights from a structural capacity and safety perspective. The Committee recommended the update be brought to a future Council meeting for endorsement.
Evergreen Park Funding Overview – Representatives from Evergreen Park provided the Committee with a historical overview of how funding from the County has been invested in the park over the past seven years. The presentation also profiled numerous operating highlights and other successes achieved by Evergreen Park.
Review of Upcoming Agenda Items – The Committee reviewed topics scheduled for upcoming Committee of the Whole meetings.
The next Regular Council Meeting will take place on January 30, 2023. The next Committee of the Whole Meeting will take place on February 16, 2023.
