Art Gallery of Grande Prairie Annual Update –Daniel Becker, Executive Director of the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie presented their annual report and requested an increase in funding. Becker requested an increase in funding for the Art Gallery for general increases in operational costs. The Committee recommended to Council that the County renew the Art Gallery‘s funding agreement for the next three years, providing $86,000 annually in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Since 2005, Council has approved annual operating support for the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie, including $75,000 annually for the four-year period of 2019-2022.
First Quarter Financial Summary Report – Administration presented the County of Grande Prairie’s financials for the first quarter of 2023, including year-to-date actual revenues and expenditures compared to approved budgets and first quarter capital expenses.
Committee of the Whole Task Lists – The Committee reviewed the Council and Committee of the Whole Meeting task lists up to and including May 23, 2023 Regular Council Meeting and April 24, 2023 Committee of the Whole Meeting.
Review of Upcoming Agenda Items – The Committee reviewed topics scheduled for upcoming Committee of the Whole meetings.
