Back to SearchGrande Prairie Regional Sport Connection Annual Update – The Committee accepted as information an update from Grande Prairie Regional Sport Connection (GPRSC) representatives, outlining the organization’s current activities, including annual events such as Try-It Day. The County of Grande Prairie has provided Community Assistance funding to GPRSC since 2019.
Potential Parks & Recreation Capital Projects – The Committee heard an update from Administration regarding previously identified capital project priorities and discussed priorities moving forward. The Committee recommended that Council direct Administration to evaluate the existing access road into Pipestone Creek Campground and bring back the information to a future Committee of the Whole Meeting.
Strategic Planning Facilitation – The Committee directed Administration to work with Doug Griffiths to schedule a delegation time for presenting his Strategic Planning Facilitation to Council.
Cost-of-Living (COLA) Adjustment Process – The Committee recommend to Council to continue with the current Cost-of-Living (COLA) Adjustment process.
Maskwa Medical Clinic – The Committee recommend that Council appoint Councillors Beaupre and Peterson to attend the Maskwa Medical Clinic meetings.
Committee of the Whole Task Lists – The Committee reviewed the Regular Council Meeting task list to June 12, 2023 and the Committee of the Whole Meeting task lists to June 1, 2023.
The next Regular Council Meeting will take place on July 17, 2023. The next Committee of the Whole Meeting will take place on July 27, 2023.
