Located northeast of Evergreen Park, Evergreen Ridge Recreation Area is a Non-Motorized Day Use area suitable for year-round hiking, cycling or horseback riding.

The area has 99 wooded acres immediately north of PARDS with some gentle rolling topography. Natural surface trails run throughout the site and lead into the Crown Land to the east.

Thanks to the efforts of volunteers from the Pine Valley South subdivision, the perimeter fence is now complete. Horse stile gates are located in the west and east fence to accommodate equestrian visitors.

There is a porta-loo and refuse containers in the parking lot off Range Road 55.

Within Evergreen Ridge Recreation Area, the following restrictions apply:

  • No overnight stays
  • No OHV's or vehicular access
  • Pets must be on leash and under control
  • No fires

These restrictions do not necessarily apply in Crown Land outside of the Rec Area.
