Covid-19 restrictions and precautions remain in place.Located northeast of Evergreen Park, Evergreen Ridge Recreation Area is a Non-Motorized Day Use area suitable for year-round hiking, cycling or horseback riding.

The area has 99 wooded acres immediately north of PARDS with some gentle rolling topography. Natural surface trails run throughout the site and lead into the Crown Land to the east.

There is a porta-loo and refuse containers in the parking lot off Range Road 55.

At present there is no access for horses in the west boundary fence. An access gate will be added in Spring 2021.

Within Evergreen Ridge Recreation Area and the Atco Powerline, the following restrictions apply:

  • No overnight stays
  • No OHV's or vehicular access
  • Pets must be on leash and under control
  • No fires

These restrictions do not necessarily apply in Crown Land outside of the Rec Area.
