What is Recreation and Parks Month all about? 
The Alberta Recreation & Parks Association has designated the month of June as "June is Recreation & Parks Month" to highlight the many benefits that recreation and parks bring to communities. Learn more about it here.
Join us in celebrating Recreation and Parks on June 22 for fun at Pipestone Creek Campground!
  • Get Active: Join us for a fun, family friendly Dance Fitness session.

  • Exciting Activities: Engaging group activities and games in the park

Kids Can Catch

July 8, 2024, 4:00pm-8:00pm

The County of Grande Prairie has teamed up with Alberta Conservation Association to host a province-wide program, Kids Can Catch Event at the County Sportsplex Pond, located at 7407-108 Street Clairmont (on the east side of the Crosslink County Sportsplex parking lot behind the playground.) This event is free to attend and create a non-competitive family fishing atmosphere to hook new and young anglers on fishing. It is a chance to fish and learn about fish conservation and responsible angling.
