Are you looking for something for your child to do this summer? Our summer day programs are the answer! 

Summer Youth Programming 

Youth, ages 6 – 12, will enjoy fun, arts and crafts, fun games and learn new skills. Healthy morning and afternoon snacks are provided while children bring their own lunch. Programs run Tuesday – Thursday, doors will open at 9:00 a.m. and the program will start at 9:30am, pick up time will be 3:30 p.m. in various communities throughout the County. 


  • La Glace Community Library - July 6 - 8 
  • Hythe Community Centre – July 13 – 15 (This program is full)
  • Teepee Creek School – July 20 – 22  
  • Dimsdale Hall – July 27 – 29  (This program is full)
  • Wellington Resource Centre in Clairmont – August 3 – 5  
  • Rio Grande Hall – August 10 – 12  
  • Bezanson Memorial Hall – August 17 – 19  

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, County of Grande Prairie Summer Day programs are preparing for both a virtual program option as well as an in-person option. The option offered will be dependent on Alberta Health Services update on provincial guidelines. 

To register your child for summer programs please use the registration link below.  When your registration is submitted you will receive a confirmation email with instructions to proceed with payment.


  • Registration is $30 per child.  
  • Registration is open until the Friday before the program begins. 
  • Register early as spots are limited. 
  • Once registration is submitted you can contact the FCSS office to make payment.
