  • Keep pets on-leash and clean up after them.
  • Use the right side of the trail (treat like a road system)
  • Yield to faster moving users.
  • Be visible to others – bright reflective clothing and bicycle reflectors.
  • Give audible signals when overtaking another user.

Trail Maintenance

Enjoy the trails year-round! When responding to significant snowfall, asphalt trails are assigned a priority rating.

  • Priority 1: Essential pedestrian access. Cleared within 24 hours.
  • Priority 2: Pedestrian access + recreation. Cleared within 48 hours.
  • Priority 3: Primarily recreation. Cleared within 72 hours.

Use caution when accessing trails, with current weather conditions they are extremely icy in some spots.

Reminder to please keep the trails clean and pick up after your dog so everyone can enjoy.

* For safety reasons trail maintenance will not occur when temperatures are below -35 Centigrade or colder. In extreme cold, there is an increased risk of injury to staff and damage to equipment.
