County Fire Engine Involved in Traffic Incident 

Motorists are asked to exercise caution when driving near Grande Prairie Airport on Highway 43, as cleanup is underway due to a single-vehicle collision involving a County Fire Engine. At the time, the engine was undergoing test driving by a service company following maintenance and not responding to an emergency.  

As a precaution, the driver was transported to the hospital. No other vehicles were involved in the incident, and responders are on scene handling cleanup of the site. The engine is expected to be towed within a few hours.
