The AdventureSmart: Survive Outside Workshop is an interactive outdoor safety program designed to equip youth with the knowledge and skills needed to make smart decisions when exploring the outdoors.
Delivered in partnership with Grande Prairie Technical Search and Rescue, this session introduces participants to the key principles of outdoor survival, including trip planning, hazard awareness, emergency preparedness, and what to do if they become lost. The workshop emphasizes prevention first, helping youth understand how to stay safe before a situation becomes an emergency.
This workshop is ideal for youth who enjoy spending time outdoors, whether camping, hiking, or exploring local natural areas, and want to build confidence and safety awareness.
