County launches public survey to help shape next decade of recreation
The County of Grande Prairie is inviting residents to help set the course for parks, programs, and community services over the next 10 years through a county‑wide Recreation Strategic Plan survey.
“Recreation is essential to building healthy, connected communities. It brings people together, supports physical and mental wellbeing, and enhances quality of life,” says County Reeve Amanda McDonald. “This survey gives residents an opportunity to help inform the future of recreation in the County, ensuring our parks, programs, and services reflect what matters most to them.”
The survey will be open from January 19 to February 6, which can be found here. All County residents, recreation users, and community groups are encouraged to participate and share their input.
