County of Grande Prairie Releases Official List of Candidates

The following is the official list of candidates who have filed nomination papers to run for office in the 2025 Municipal Election.

Elections will be held in seven electoral divisions – Divisions 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9. County of Grande Prairie residents will elect one Councillor from each division. Candidates elected to office serve a four-year term.

Voting Stations

Voting stations will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day, Monday, October 20. Voters who are away or cannot get to their voting station on that day may vote at one of the advance voting stations on Wednesday, October 15 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, October 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., or apply for a Special Ballot.
