Regional Fire Services Exemplary Service Medal Presented — Reeve McDonald presented Fire Chief Trevor Grant with the Regional Fire Services Exemplary Service Medal for his years of dedication and service to the County. The medal honours members of a recognized Canadian fire service who have completed 20 years of service, ten years of which have been served in the performance of duties involving potential risks. 

Applications to Relieve Burden of Unpaid Taxes — Council directed Administration to apply for the 2025 Provincial Education Requisition Credit (PERC) and Designated Industrial Requisition Credit (DIRC) Programs related to unpaid property taxes. 

Grande Prairie and Area Council on Aging, Seniors Outreach Program — Council approved the $25,000 funding request (for 2026-2027) from the Grande Prairie and Area Council on Aging (GPACA) for the Seniors Outreach Program and directed Administration to enter into a funding agreement with GPACA for the Seniors Outreach Program for the term.  

Hythe and District Food Bank Society Request for Funding — Council approved the $2,550 funding request from the Hythe and District Food Bank Society and directed Administration to review long-term sustainable options including partnerships and opportunities with agencies and County facilities. 

Funding Request Approved for Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum — Council approved the $10,500 funding request from The River of Death & Discovery Dinosaur Museum Society (Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum) for the hiring of The Agency – A Two Twelve Company to recruit a new Executive Director for the museum.  

Soil Conservation Bylaw Updated — Council approved Policy D22 – Soil Conservation as amended to add in clarification around “lands” in Policy Statement and that Administration appoint Kate Winterford as a Soil Conservation Officer.  

Assessment of Designated Manufactured Homes Bylaw — Council directed Administration to bring back Bylaw #3259 – Assessment of Designated Manufactured Homes in a Manufactured Home Community to a future Committee of the Whole Meeting.  

Financial Reserves and Levies Policy Updated — Council approved Policy C27 – Financial Reserves and Levies as presented and directed Administration to bring back Policy C40 – Divisional Equitable Fiscal Allocation Policy to a future Regular Council Meeting.  

Teepee Creek Firehall Borrowing Bylaw — Council gave first reading to Bylaw #3263 – Teepee Creek Firehall Borrowing Bylaw as presented.
