Ongoing Storm Line Flushing and Inspections

Crews will be continuing storm line flushing and inspections in several County neighbourhoods throughout the spring and summer months. 

This work includes cleaning lines to remove build-up and performing camera inspections of all storm lines to ensure stormwater and melting snow can drain properly. Doing so extends the life of County storm infrastructure and protects neighbourhoods from water pooling and flooding. 

Crews will be working periodically until approximately September 2026 in the following neighbourhoods:

• Carriage Lane
• Maple Ridge
• Taylor Estate
• Wedgewood
• Westlake Village
• Whispering Ridge
• Westmount North Industrial Park
• Westmount South Industrial Park

When crews are working, portions of walking paths or roadsides may need to be blocked, and residents may notice noise from trucks. Crews will need to access manholes that may be located in roads or grassy areas near property lines. 

Residents are reminded to never bury or hide manhole covers and to avoid areas where crews are working. Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
