Update #2: Morgans Mountain Wildfire
Update #2: Saturday, May 3, 2025, 5:05 p.m. – The Morgan's Mountain fire is now being held, and the cause is currently under investigation. Range Road 50 has reopened between Township Road 742 and Township Road 744, however, there are still some local traffic restrictions on the south entrance of the Morgan Mountain subdivision. The south perimeter of the fire has been reinforced with a fire break.
Please obey directions from Regional Enforcement Services and watch for fire crews in the area. County Regional Fire Service crews will remain on scene until dark and will continue their work tomorrow to monitor conditions and extinguish hotspots.
