Visible Smoke Due to Wildfire 50 KM Southwest of Grande Prairie

Wednesday, July 9, 2025, 5:48 p.m. – The County of Grande Prairie Regional Fire Service would like to advise the public that there is visible smoke due to a wildfire located approximately 50 km southwest of Grande Prairie and 1.5 km north of the Two Lakes Road. The fire is Alberta Wildfire GWF063, located in the MD of Greenview. Alberta Wildfire continues to respond to this wildfire. There is no threat to County residents at this time.
