Honour Alberta Day with the County at the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum

Celebrate Alberta Day with a prehistoric twist at the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum on September 1 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.  

Whether you're a dinosaur enthusiast, a family with young children, or simply looking for a fun community event, there’s something for everyone.  

The event features:

• free admission to the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum.  
• making crafts face painting, and outdoor mini golf
• exploring bonebeds on a guided tour
• a complimentary BBQ from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Get your meal while supplies last

“Alberta Day is a meaningful way to recognize our province’s heritage and spend time together as a community,” says Reeve Amanda McDonald. “It’s an opportunity for neighbours, friends, and families to connect while celebrating the history and culture that shape our region.”
