Grain Bag Recycling
- SHAKE off as much organic material (spoilage, soil, etc.) as possible. Extremely dirty or loose/unrolled bags may be rejected. If you do not have a landfill access tag, you may have to pay a tipping fee or additional charge upon drop-off (if your material is rejected).
- ROLL and TIE the bags with twine. Grain bags must be rolled tight with a roller or a baler and tied with twine. Grain bags not rolled properly must be cut into 6 ft. x 6 ft. pieces and are subject to tipping fees as they will be disposed of in the landfill.
- RETURN the grain bag to the Clairmont Centre for Recycling & Waste Management for recycling.
