County of Grande Prairie Announces New Superintendent of Regional Enforcement Services
The County of Grande Prairie is pleased to announce the appointment of Kyle Palfy as the new Superintendent of Regional Enforcement Services, effective October 21, 2024. With over 26 years of comprehensive policing experience, including 13 years in senior leadership roles with the Grande Prairie RCMP, Palfy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this critical position.

Clairmont Municipal Police Service Multi-Year Financial Plan — The RCMP prepared a Municipal Police Service Multi-Year Financial Plan for the four Clairmont police positions (Corporal and three Constables). Council approved the signing of this Plan which will be in effect from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2030.

Renewed Recreation Agreement, Amended Fire Services Agreement between County of Grande Prairie and Town of Wembley Continues Municipal Collaboration Commitment
In a cooperative effort to share costs for mutually beneficial recreational and fire services, the County of Grande Prairie and the Town of Wembley have finalized two official agreements.
