Overnight Camping - Group and Individual

County Campgrounds are now open for the season.
Summer DAY-USE hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. from May 15, 2025 through October 15, 2025.

Ready to win big? Follow these simple steps to enter the draw for our exciting grand prize!

How to Enter:

  1. Collect Stickers
    Camp at our County campgrounds (Bear Lake, Demmitt, Hommy, Hythe Municipal, Kleskun Hill, and Pipestone Creek) and collect stickers from at least 4 out of the 6 participating locations. Each sticker goes in your official Passport.
  2. Scan the QR Code
    On the back of your Passport, you'll find a QR code. Scan it to access the online entry form.
  3. Fill Out the Form
    Complete and submit the form online to enter the draw: ENTRY FORM

Grand Prize Includes:

  • weekend of free camping at the participating campground of your choice
  • Four County Campgrounds branded ball caps
  • $100 Canadian Tire gift card

Important Notes:

  • Contest opens May 15, 2025.
  • A minimum of 4 campground stickers is required to qualify.
  • You must present your completed Passport at the time of prize collection to verify your entry.
  • Maximum 2 Passport entries per family
  • Contest closes Friday, September 5, 2025

A $7 nightly fire permit fee will be in place at all County campgrounds to supplement the costs of firewood handling and firepit safety maintenance.

All County campground reservation bookings are online.

*In-person registration will also be available for those without internet access. Please see the Park Host upon arrival. Spaces will be limited.

Please note: the Pipestone Creek Campground uses a different online booking system than the other campgrounds with online bookings.

Group Overnight Camping 

These areas are day use until 11 PM and can be booked for group camping functions. No individual camping available.

Seasonal Playground Maintenance 

Please note that playgrounds are not maintained or inspected from November 1 to April 1.

If you choose to enjoy the equipment during this period, please use caution and be vigilant for potential hazards such as snow, ice, or damage.

Whenever you venture outdoors, practice Bear Smart principles. We want all your wildlife experiences to be positive and safe for you and the animals.

  • Stay in a Group
  • Make noise
  • Keep pets on leash
  • Don't feed wildlife
  • Carry bear spray or bear bangers
  • Don't use noise cancelling headphones or ear buds with loud music
