Rural Address: 702038 Range Road 81A
Located south of Wembley on the banks of the Wapiti River. Overnight camping, group camping and day use are all available. There is NO CELL SERVICE in the park.
99 sites and 2 group areas. Loops A, D and E as well as Group Area 1 have 30-amp service. RV sanitary dump station is located at the park entrance. Non-potable water taps are available.
The park is located near one of the richest areas for fossil finds in western Canada and the largest site in the world for Pachyrhinosaurus fossils. Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum in Wembley exists because of this rich bone bed.
Amenities include a group day-use shelter, non-potable water tap, indoor shower and washrooms, outdoor restrooms, 2 playgrounds, ball diamond and 7 km of recently expanded hiking trails. Please note the trail to the bone bed is closed until further notice.
A $7 nightly fire permit fee will be in place at all County campgrounds to supplement the costs of firewood handling and firepit safety maintenance.

Boat access to the Wapiti River is through the Campground.
$29 / night individual un-serviced campsite (one hard-sided camping unit, one tent and one vehicle) plus $7 fire permit fee / night. $10 online reservation fee / booking.
$39 / night individual powered campsite (one hard-sided camping unit, one tent and one vehicle) plus $7 fire permit fee / night. $10 online reservation fee / booking.
$420 / night Group Site #1 (w $40 daily fire permit included) includes 10 powered sites, group cook shelter, outdoor restrooms, firepit, small playground, non-potable water tap. $10 online reservation fee / booking.
$165 / night Group Site #2 (w $25 daily fire permit included) includes 5 un-serviced sites, firepit, picnic tables. Each additional unit is $28 / night and $7 fire permit fee, to a maximum of 10 units. $10 online reservation fee / booking.
$130 / half-day private Group Day Use Area includes gazebo, firepit, picnic tables. $10 online reservation fee / booking.
Only Visa or Mastercard are accepted. No cash, debit, cheques or American Express.
Check in time is 4:00 PM. Check out time is 2:00 PM.
