Transportation Levy

The Transportation Levy off-site levy bylaw for new or expanded roads is updated regularly by amendments to the bylaw to set the rates.

• Zone 1 – Clairmont Centred Area: $11,000 per acre
• Zone 2 – City of Grande Prairie Centred Area: $8,600 per acre
• Zone 3 - Grande Prairie Rural Area: $2,000 per acre

The County believes in investing in roads and preparing for growth in the future. Regular updates to the levy rates to reflect accurate construction costs for new and expanded roads will help ensure the County continues to have a high quality, sustainable transportation network.
