Scheduled Public Hearings
Public hearings are an opportunity for Council to hear from anyone affected by proposed bylaws or resolutions, including proposed amendments to the Land Use Bylaw or new or amended Area Structure Plans, prior to making a decision on the matter.
Public hearings are scheduled during regular Council meetings beginning at 1:00 pm in the order they appear on the agenda. The length of individual hearings can vary, therefore exact start times for specific applications cannot be provided.
You can speak at the hearing or provide written comments in advance. Written submissions must be received at least 5 days before the scheduled hearing date. Note any information you provide may be made public subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. If you wish to speak at a hearing, you will be invited to do so by the Chair as per the Procedural Bylaw. Visit the Council Calendar and select the Council Meeting or call 780-532-9722 for information on how to participate.

Nature of the Application:
The purpose of this application is to close a portion of public works road (service road), plan 2620772 located within NW-25-72-6-W6 in the Hamlet of Clairmont, to public travel for the purpose of disposal. This closure would enable the County to sell the land and authorize its consolidation with the adjacent properties.

West of NW-19-70-10-W6 Bylaw
Nature of the Application:
The purpose of this application is to close a portion of undeveloped Road Allowance located adjacent to the West boundary of NW-19-70-10-W6 to public travel and dispose of the land. The closure would enable the County to sell and consolidate with Plan 7620142, Lot B and Pt. NW-19-70-10-W6 (C of T 20210862400).
