Public hearings are an opportunity for Council to hear from anyone affected by proposed bylaws or resolutions, including proposed amendments to the Land Use Bylaw or new or amended Area Structure Plans, prior to making a decision on the matter.
Public hearings are scheduled during regular Council meetings beginning at 1:00 pm in the order they appear on the agenda. The length of individual hearings can vary, therefore exact start times for specific applications cannot be provided.
You can speak at the hearing or provide written comments in advance. Written submissions must be received at least 5 days before the scheduled hearing date. Note any information you provide may be made public subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. If you wish to speak at a hearing, you will be invited to do so by the Chair as per the Procedural Bylaw. Visit the Council Calendar and select the Council Meeting or call 780-532-9722 for information on how to participate.

1.The purpose of this amendment is to designate part of SW-1-72-9-W6 located east of
RGE RD 91 and north of TWP RD 720 from Agriculture (AG) to Country Residential
(CR-2) accommodate the subdivision of 4 residential lots.

2.The purpose of this amendment is to designate part of NW-21-72-6-W6 located east of
RGE RD 64 and south of TWP RD 724 from Agriculture (AG) to County Residential
(CR-5) to accommodate a mutli-lot residential subdivision.

3.The purpose of this amendment is to designate part of SW-29-70-10-W6 located east of
RGE RD 105 and north of TWP RD 704 from Agriculture (AG) to County Residential
(CR-5) to accommodate a subdivision of one restidential lot.

4. The purpose of this amendment is to designate part of NW-2-72-6-W6 located in the Hamlet of Clairmont from Agriculture (AG) to Rural Residential District (RR-2) and Medium Density Residential (MDR) district to accomodate the next phase of the Whispering Ridge Subdivision.

5.The purpose of this amendment is to designate part of NE-22-70-8-W6 located south of
TWP RD 70 and west of RGE RD 82 from Intensive Recreation (IR) to County Residential
(CR-5) to accomodate a subdivsion of one residential lot.
