Scheduled Public Hearings
Public hearings are an opportunity for Council to hear from anyone affected by proposed bylaws or resolutions, including proposed amendments to the Land Use Bylaw or new or amended Area Structure Plans, prior to making a decision on the matter.
Public hearings are scheduled during regular Council meetings beginning at 1:00 pm in the order they appear on the agenda. The length of individual hearings can vary, therefore exact start times for specific applications cannot be provided.
You can speak at the hearing or provide written comments in advance. Written submissions must be received at least 5 days before the scheduled hearing date. Note any information you provide may be made public subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. If you wish to speak at a hearing, you will be invited to do so by the Chair as per the Procedural Bylaw. Visit the Council Calendar and select the Council Meeting or call 780-532-9722 for information on how to participate.

1.The purpose of this amendment is to designate part of SW-12-71-8-W6 located east of
RGE RD 81 and south of TWP RD 712 from Agriculture (AG) to Country Residential
(CR-2) accommodate subdivision. File # PLLUB20260047.
2.The purpose of this amendment is to designate part of SE-5-74-3-W6 located west of
RGE RD 34 and north of HWY 674 (100 Ave within the Hamlet of Teepee Creek) from
Urban Reserve (UR) to General Commercial (GC) to accommodate subdivision of
commercial property. File # PLLUB20250499.
3.The purpose of this amendment is to designate part of NW-11-73-6-W6 located east of
RGE RD 62 and south of HWY 672 from Agriculture (AG) to Rural Medium Industrial
(RM-2) to accommodate a subdivision. File # PLLUB20250620.
Note: This file was originally scheduled for a public hearing on March 9, 2026 but was recessed to
allow the applicant to address concerns received during the circulation period. All comments
previously received for this file and any new comments will be brought to the hearing for
consideration.
