Accessing Landfills & Transfer Stations
County residents can dispose of solid waste and recycling at the Clairmont Centre for Recycling & Waste Management and area transfer stations.
Residents can access the Clairmont Centre for Recycling and Waste Management through the Clairmont Centre Access Program, using their Waste Card. Households can dispose of up to 1,000 kg of waste at the facility each year for free. There is no cap on recycling. Waste above the annual amount is subject to standard tipping fees. | Last loads of the day - All commercial & residential truck and trailer loads tipping at the landfill face must cross the inbound scale by 5:30 p.m. All customers need to be unloaded by 6:00 p.m. and clear of the scale. * Please check your dump trailer battery and operation before loading to ensure it works. |
