Hours of Operation

Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Open all Statutory Holidays except Christmas and New Years Day.

Accessing the West Grande Prairie County Regional Transfer Station

The West Grande Prairie County Transfer Station accepts residential household solid waste and recycling, and agricultural recycling. Users will unload waste by hand into the available bins.

** Please note: This facility is currently operating as a transfer station until further notice. All loads must be unloaded by hand into bins. Large loads may not be accepted and / or redirected to Clairmont Landfill. Fees may apply at the Clairmont Landfill. Please call 780-567-4194 for any questions.

County of Grande Prairie residents access the facility free of charge for solid waste and recycling. Special handling items are subject to disposal fees check out the Standard Tipping Fees for pricing.
