Barricade and Excavation Permits

County roads can be barricaded or excavated by companies for a variety of reasons, including:

• shallow excavation activity (power, natural gas, telecom);
• deep excavation activity (water and sanitary sewer utilities);
• power pole or connection box installations; and
• private sector road development.

Planning to barricade or excavate a County-owned road or right of way? Notify the County by completing the application form above. Approval of this form is not required to perform work. This form provides notice to County staff.
