The County has almost 32 kms of paved multi-purpose trails, plus a natural trail network at Pipestone Creek Campground. Click for information about each trail system or use the interactive map to learn more.

Length: 7.1 Km

Surface: Asphalt

Trail Head: Highway 668 and Range Road 61 (immediately south of Aquatera landfill turn).

Amenities: Porta-loo (not wheelchair accessible), garbage receptacles, pet waste bags, benches

Appropriate use: Non-motorized. E bikes and mobility aides less than 30 Km/hr are welcome.

Terrain: Green, easy.

Accessible: Mostly. Some loose gravel and steep portions at trail head and at crossings.

Trail Head: Park curbside Wedgewood Drive North

Amenities: Garbage, benches

Appropriate Use: Non-motorized. E bikes and mobility aides less than 30 Km/hr are welcome.

Terrain: Green, easy.

Accessible: Mostly. May need to use roadway along Wedgewood Drive North to access the trail. Some loose gravel at railroad crossing.

Trail Etiquette 

Help create a fun and safe experience for all trail users. Do not take motorized vehicles on the trails. Motorized mobility aides and e-bikes that travel less than 30 km/hr are welcome on the trails.

  • Keep pets on-leash and clean up after them.
  • Use the right side of the trail (treat like a road system)
  • Yield to faster moving users.
  • Be visible to others – bright reflective clothing and bicycle reflectors.
  • Give audible signals when overtaking another user.

Trail Maintenance 

Enjoy the trails year-round! When responding to significant snowfall, asphalt trails are assigned a priority rating.

  • Priority 1: Essential pedestrian access. Cleared within 24 hours.
  • Priority 2: Pedestrian access + recreation. Cleared within 48 hours.
  • Priority 3: Primarily recreation. Cleared within 72 hours.
