The County has almost 32 kms of paved multi-purpose trails, plus a natural trail network at Pipestone Creek Campground. Click for information about each trail system or use the interactive map to learn more.

Trail Head: Highway 668 and Range Road 61 (immediately south of Aquatera landfill turn).
Amenities: Porta-loo (not wheelchair accessible), garbage receptacles, pet waste bags, benches

Terrain: Green, easy.
Accessible: Mostly. Some loose gravel and steep portions at trail head and at crossings.

Accessible: Mostly. May need to use roadway along Wedgewood Drive North to access the trail. Some loose gravel at railroad crossing.

Evergreen Ridge Recreation Area
Surface: Natural
Trail Head: Range Road 55 and Township Road 710
Amenities: Porta-loo and refuse containers in the parking lot off Range Road 55.
Appropriate Use: Non-motorized, hiking, cycling or horseback riding.
Terrain: Easy, moderate and difficult.
Accessible: Mostly.

Trail Head:5.5 kms south of Grande Prairie via Highway 40

Appropriate Use: Non-motorized, hiking, cycling and snowshoeing.
Terrain: Easy, moderate and difficult.

Help create a fun and safe experience for all trail users. Do not take motorized vehicles on the trails. Motorized mobility aides and e-bikes that travel less than 30 km/hr are welcome on the trails.
Enjoy the trails year-round! When responding to significant snowfall, asphalt trails are assigned a priority rating.

With warm weather and freezing rain in the forecast, we’re working hard to keep trails safe!
What we’re doing: Monitoring the trail system daily and applying grit where needed to reduce slippery spots.
Did you know: Plowing trails during these conditions can cause ice buildup and create hazardous surfaces.
