This board advises on weed and pest control, soil and water conservation, animal disease control, and supports sustainable agriculture to help farmers.

Clairmont Detachment Building Project Committee
Purpose:
The Clairmont Detachment Building Project Committee will plan the construction of a rural detachment in the Hamlet of Clairmont.

Council and Board Remuneration Review Committee
Purpose:
To review the existing Council and Board/Committee remuneration and expense reimbursement policies with assistance from Administration prior to the 2029 municipal election.

Council Internal Advocacy Committee
Purpose:
To identify and address Council's operational concerns with matters relating to:
- Electronic meeting process and voting software;
- Connectivity in Council Chambers;
- Functionality of computer systems;
- Council Chambers and lounge requirements; and
- Council supplies.

Crime Prevention Committee
Purpose:
To provide Council with strategic recommendations relating to reduction of crime, engaging and educating the community on crime prevention and reduction.

Family and Community Support Services Board (FCSS)
Purpose:
The FCSS Board advises the Council on human services policies in the County. It is responsible for ensuring high-quality community services for all age groups within its boundaries. The board creates and enforces FCSS policies and procedures within the framework of the FCSS Act and regulations, oversees the FCSS program activities, and provides advice to the County administration on social issues and concerns.

The role of the Municipal Planning Commission is to make decisions on all subdivision and development permits of various uses under the Land Use Bylaw.

The Staff Accommodation Space Needs Analysis Committee reviews and provides recommendation plans for current and potential new buildings to accommodate staff and public access needs in the County.

Weed and Pest Appeal Committee
Purpose:
The Weed Notice Appeal Board is composed of up to five area producers familiar with weed issues. This Board hears appeals and makes rulings that are then binding on the Agriculture Department and the appellant.
